"Twitter And Facebook"
I joined the latest world of social madness today "Twitter" its crazy what has happened to us poor souls in just a few years, Myspace,Facebook, Bebo and now Twitter.
Gone are the days of normal communication-its all done now through posting on a wall,instant chat and status updates,even email is now outdated!!
I was born in 1981 and even at 27 find all this new technology baffling, mobiles didn't even take pictures when I was a teenager-now on these sites all you see is pictures pictures and more pictures-surely these people would have a much more fulfilling evening without taking 100 pictures for facebook.
Perhaps im being overcritical considering im writing this on a "Blog" but Im more that a supporter in a ban of "Social Networks" whats social about sitting on a computer?
I log on to Facebook and soon realise that there is actually nothing to do on there, no racing updates, no live feed to Racing UK-not even a Tote pool in sight "call this a website I ask" as some random friend request pops up from a turkish horse farmer.
The moral of this blog is get off Facebook and go to the pub, the park, or the races and actually talk to your friends about your day and experiences.
Just please leave your camera at home.
And if your find yourself missing these social networking sites, theres always the old fashioned pen pal, or message in a bottle or attached to a balloon-much more exciting that a instant response do you not agree?
