DARREN HUDSON-WOOD
I am 28 years of age and my background in racing is very much in the breeding side of the industry I have worked in one of the best studs in the country, studied at the National Stud in Newmarket and also did some sales work at Tattersalls.
Having studied form and pedigrees for the past 10 years I formed Hudsons Horses in March 2009 with a view to providing a Tipping Service at a reasonable membership price whilst still delivering winners and good results.
My first horse racing memory was meeting Red Rum at the age of 8, at the opening of the local Corals in Ipswich and having my picture taken with him (below)

I have generally been around horses all my life, from riding my fathers ponies as a youngster to working with group winners past and present during my time in Newmarket.
My goals for the future are to create my own stud-breeding racehorses which I hope to establish in the next few years.
In my younger years I also played Chess for both county and country which resulted in being Suffolk under 15 and u16 Suffolk champion, as well as winning numerous county and national awards/titles.
I also enjoy my cricket, both playing and watching and an avid Warwickshire fan-though Essex would be my local county team as Suffolk are not a pro outfit.
