"Return of the King"
There has been much debate/publicity recently due to the return of racings lost son, Im personally looking forward to the emminent return of the former champion jockey.
Im happy when certain jockeys are on a horse I fancy, these include Ryan Moore,Jimmy fortune,Paul Hannagan and Jamie Spencer but never was I so assured of a power packed die hard effort when K.Fallon appeared next to my chosen horses name.
Im a sucker for reading the Channel 4 Ceefax chat page "576" and im really not sure why!! The drivel some of these people come out with is laughable,-ive seen comments saying "fallons return is the end of racing" and "I won't bet anymore when Fallon is back" I bet you any money they will be down the local ladbrokes that afternoon.
The fact is he was cleared of any race fixing allegations and I for one never doubted his innocence, he did though fall foul in terms of drug taking and no one can ever see drugs in any sport as acceptable but in racing he hasn't cheated in any form the drugs did not enhance Fallons performance in the saddle-nor did he even require them too, but on September 4th he will have served the punishment and it will be good for racing to have such a great horseman back and if I certainly wouldn't want to be taking odds on for Ryan Moore to win the Jockeys championship in 2011.
